The Vigilant Crew is proud to have participated in The Hampton Blackbeard Festival since 2004. We have a very close relationship with Hampton’s Blackbeard Crew who are the hosts for the event.

 

 

 

 

The Vigilant Crew was invited down for the first Charleston Harbor Festival in 2007 and came back down for 2008 and 2009.

The Vigilant Crew has worked with several Howard County public schools to support themed Reading Nights.

 

 

In 2008 and 2009 The Vigilant Crew has helped out Blackbeard's Crew who were hosting the pirate encampment for the Oxford Day festival.

 

 

The  Vigilant Crew work with  Blackbeard's Crew and The Devilmen Of Cape Fear to provide a pirate encampment for this tall ship event.

 

The Vigilant Crew provided an encampment, living history demos and a sea battle  in support of the re-opening their water park. With the success of the event the parks authority has now made this an annual event.

Pohick Bay Regional Park

 

 

The  Vigilant Crew work with  Blackbeard's Crew and The Devilmen Of Cape Fear to provide a pirate encampment for this tall ship event.

Since 2008 The Vigilant Crew has partnered with this event for and managed it’s living history activities. In addition to hosting the encampment we also coordinated the sea battled which topped off the days activities.

Fells Point Privateer Day

 

 

Since 2008 The Vigilant Crew has worked with their friends at Blackbeard’s Crew to provide a second living history camp .
